Mirra is looking for a Road Service Mechanic to asset in repairs and preventative maintenance of commercial motor vehicles, passenger vehicles, and heavy equipment. This position is full-time, Monday- Friday with overtime opportunities. The mechanic will cover our Northern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire areas, this position will report to Mirra’s fleet manager. Mirra takes pride in our top notch and growing fleet.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Services and oversees repairs of all types of equipment and commercial motor vehicles (CMV)
  • Conducts preventive maintenance on the fleet
  • Performs safety inspections on equipment and CMV
  • Maintains a safe work environment
  • Adheres to all Federal, State and Manufacturer safety requirements
  • Performs other duties assigned by fleet manager.

    • Qualifications Include:

    • Experience as mechanic; vehicle maintenance, heavy equipment, diesel engines, electronics systems, and hydraulics.
    • Ability to diagnose and trouble shoot complex equipment problems
    • Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
    • Lifting objects up to 50 lbs

    Education, Skills, and Experience:

    • High School diploma or equivalent is preferred
    • Must pass pre-employment random drug screen
    • Must pass background and Mass CORI check
    • OSHA 10 certification in construction

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay is based on experience and skill level and have the opportunity to negotiate pay rate.
